These include how to develop productive working relationships with colleagues, how to manage conflict with colleagues and leading a team, leadership styles and ways of motivating, supporting and encouraging teams, how to identify work-related difficulties and how to find potential solutions.

How long will it take?

To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake between 130 and 165 hours of learning, depending on their unit choices.

These include manage own professional development within an organisation, set objectives and provide support for team members, plan, allocate and monitor the work of a team, provide leadership and direction for your area of responsibility, manage or support equality of opportunity, diversity and inclusion in your area of responsibility, implement change in your area of responsibility and develop working relationships with colleagues.

This qualification is aimed at team leaders across a variety of sector areas. It aims to recognise the skills and competences of learners in the workplace and allow learners to demonstrate the skills required for a career in management.  

How long will it take?

To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake between 80 and 100 hours of learning, depending on their unit selections.
